Welcome to Canton!

Twenty-four miles south of Akron is the charming city of Canton, where residents enjoy big-city amenities in a medium-sized Midwestern locale of about 73,000.

Canton is home to Ohio’s most visited tourist destination, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the William McKinley President Library/National Monument, the National First Ladies Library and Research Center, the Canton Symphony Orchestra; and the acclaimed Canton Arts District, with seven galleries, 22 artist studios, five live music venues, unique outdoor art, and the Canton Art Museum.

Employers include the Diebold and Timken companies, and two hospitals, which provide excellent healthcare. There are plenty of parks, restaurants, and shopping in the Canton area, and housing options are diverse and affordable.
